I started making 31 ghosts – one for each day of October – in 2018. I did the same in 2020 and 2021. Most of the ghosts are paper collages, but other materials and practices sneak in. For example, there is a sun print, stamped and drawn ghosts, stitching, and one instant photo in the mix.
I’ve become so attracted to the ghost theme that I stopped confining my ghost-making to October. Now I make ghosts willy-nilly and whenever I please. Below are a few from 2023:
