Cloth Book Progress

Page one of the cloth book is all finished up! And I couldn’t be happier. I picked one of my favorite pages to start on – it uses the corner of a vintage hankie, a fraying quilt top scrap, and a square of soft and sweet pink fabric from my grandmother’s stash. It’s been mostly straight stitches and french knots so far, but the slow-stitching process has been really satisfying. It’s just one page, but it feels like a small milestone – like the book is officially started now.
