2021 Booklet #2
Zine #2 of the year became a collage sheet booklet – meant to be unfolded and the images cut up to be used for paper crafting. (It’s designed so that there are only images on one side of the paper, so all the pictures are usable.) This one ended up being larger in size than zine #1, but it still only used sheets of basic printer paper, folded and then stapled in the middle.
The images I chose are all scans or photos of some of my favorite trash and ground scraps that were collected for past collages and art journals (see here and here). Tags, thread, paper scraps, bits of nature, squashed toys, squiggles… with a few doll heads thrown in for good measure.
